You can access the private beach via the stairs in either direction from the house (in the summertime), or by walking or driving a short distance down the street to the main beach parking area.
Although we love animals, there are no pets allowed. Also, no smoking allowed on the property.
Downtown Plymouth center is a twenty-minute drive from the house (North on 3A). Plymouth center has many shops and lots of group restaurants. Also, there are historic sites to see: Plymouth Rock, National Monument to the Forefathers, Burial Hill. Mayflower II, and Plymouth Grist Mill.
Close to Cape Cod Bridges: Sagamore Bridge/Cape Cod are about twenty minutes South on 3A. If you plan to drive to the Cape in the summer months, we suggest that you do so during weekdays to avoid the heavy traffic on the weekends. If you enjoy travelling by sea, perhaps the best way to get to the Cape is by taking the 90-minute Plymouth to Provincetown Passenger Ferry (Captain John Boats, State Pier, 77 Water Street, Plymouth: 508-338-4418; www.captjohn.com).
